District Specialists

The Academic Career Coaches for PCSS begin college and career preparation activities at the elementary school level through 12th grade. Utilizing grade appropriate activities that focus on personality assessments, career interest surveys, investigations into post-secondary educational options, and job market analysis, the coaches then align educational tracks to long-term career goals. It is the sincere belief that every student has the ability to earn a post-secondary credential with value in the labor market.

The District Instructional Specialists assist teachers, school specialists, and schools in English/Language Arts (ELA) and Math curriculum. The specialists provide educators with resources aligned to TN State Academic Standards, best practices, and classroom support.
