Can't Print In Google Chrome

It's not a new problem (here's a post from 2011!topic/chrome/br-SKEDR8dc and another from 2012:!topic/chrome/L8-A3X1tvIg)

Here are two things to try:

While in Google Chrome, you can reset all your chrome://flags by clicking the button "Reset all to default" on the top right of the page:

A search box says Search flags. A button in the upper right says Reset all to default. This is the Experiments page on Chrome 73.0.3683.86 It also warns the user WARNING: EXPERIMENTAL FEATURES AHEAD! By enabling these features, you could lose browser data or compromise your security or privacy. Enabled features apply to all users of this browser. Interested in cool new Chrome features? There is something else you can do. Google's print function isn't as robust as your computer operating system's ability to print. You can print using the system dialog.

Print Using the System Dialog

If you don't mind using keyboard commands, you can access this directly by pressing the option key, the command key, and the p key all at the same time. There is an onscreen way as well, simply click the text in the lower left of the screen labeled "print using the system dialog":
Miscellaneous stuff on screen for accessibility that appears but is totally irrelevant to this (they say if it's words in the image I need to include it so ignore the screen reader until I get to what matters): The chrome browser on MacOS. The title bar says "Chrome File Edit View History Bookmarks People Window Help Fri Mar 22 8:35:36 AM". The Google Print Preview Dialog has pulled up a page entitled Technology-Putnam County, which is labeled as Not Secure and the address is Skip navigation, Algood Elementary School, Algood Middle School, Cane Creek, Capshaw Elementary School, Monterey High School, Northeast Elementary School, Putnam County Schools VITAL Virtual Instruction to Accentuate Learning), Sycamore, Upperman Middle School, Upperman High School, White Plains Academy. WEBLOC Home -Putnam County…ol System, Activinspire, SuperDuper! Language: Spanish/French/German/Italian/Tagalog/Korean/Russian/Hindi Search, Login, Admin, 1400 East Spring St. Cookeville, TN 38506. Putnam County School District Logo (931) 526 9777 Menu... What Matters. OK, so here's what's important: The preview shows the page Technology-Putnam County School System. Print Total: 4 sheets of paper. There is a Cancel button and a Print button. The Destination is Canon Print Center. Pages have All selected but you can choose a range, such e.g. 1-5, 8, 11-13. The number of Copies to print is 1. Layout is set to Portrait. There is an option for More settings. Below all of this is Print using system dialog…(using Option Command P) or you can Open PDF in Preview.

Where you used the keyboard shortcut or the clicked "print using the system dialog", you print screen should appear.

There is a possibility that the dialog will show up collapsed.  To expand it, click on the Show Details button:

The print dialog has appeared. The windows is titled Print. Printer: Canon Print Center. An arrow points to the show details (middle button, bottom row). Miscellaneous stuff on screen for accessibility that appears but is totally irrelevant to this: Copies: 1. Pages: All. PDF. Show Details. Cancel button. Print button. Michael McCarver Technology Support Technician Marlen Weaver Area Technology Coordinator CHS, JWES, NES

Then you'll see the expanded print dialog box:

The print expanded dialog has appeared. The windows is titled Print. Printer: Canon Print Center Presets: Default Settings Copies:1 Pages:All From: 1 to: 1 Paper Size: US Letter 8.50 by 11.00 inches Orientation: Scale: 100% Layout Pages per Sheet: 1 Layout Direction: Border: None Two-Side: Off Reverse page orientation Flip horizontally PDF Hide Details Cancel Print
With this box, you are ready to make any changes you'd like (such as number of copies, etc.) and press the print button when you are ready to print.
