Future Ready Graduates

PCSS recognizes the importance for all our students to be post-secondary ready whether they choose to enter the workforce, technical college, or a two or four-year college or university. The exposure to various opportunities during the middle school and high school years is imperative for our students in order to a high quality education and to be able to make the best decisions for their future. These department supervisors and district-wide specialists lead, support, and engage schools, educators, students, and parents with this work.

Is your child a ready graduate? to be considered a ready graduate in Tennessee, a student must complete one of the following: Have a composite score of 21 or higher on the ACT, Complete 4 early postsecondary opportunties, complete two postsecondary opportunities and earn an industry credentials, or complete 2 early postsecondary opportunities and score 31+ on the ASVAB Test
