• I truly believe there is no greater profession than that of teaching, molding young minds and bodies and spirits. Teachers produce the work force for all other professions.

There are many things that are important to me in meeting the obligations of my position in supporting teachers, in advocating for the rights and needs of children, and in bargaining with parents. Above all else, I strive to be a role model and lead by example. And, perhaps even more importantly, it is my responsibility to provide a safe and secure environment in which learning can take place.

I want no child left behind, and I believe it is the responsibility of the school to know what is needed to help each child be successful in his or her time with us at Cornerstone Elementary School. Using a textbook is only one way of teaching and giving a test is only one way of determining whether or not learning has taken place. I am pleased to have the opportunity to be a part of the great work being done at CSES.

    Visiting CSES

We welcome visitors, and if you visit our school, please bring your driver's license to sign in each day and get a visitors' badge; this is for your child's safety. Also, please respect the teachers' time with all the children so that everyone has access to their teacher.

    Dismissal

If your child needs to be dismissed in a way different from previous arrangements, please send a note about the new dismissal plan. Without a note, we often have to make multiple calls daily and that makes it hard to ensure your children are dismissed properly.
