• Programs of Study

    The following policy became effective beginning with the 9th grade class entering high school during the 2009-2010 school year. Students must complete three units in the same focus area or approved program study.

    Description of Program

    Science/Math:

    Would need 3 or more Math or Science Classes in addition to the 7 required.

    Humanities:

    Could be a combination of Language Arts, Foreign Languages, and Social Studies Classes.

    Fine Arts:

    Could be a combination of Band, Music, Theatre, and Art.

    JROTC:

    Would need 3 JROTC classes

Agriculture: Agricultural Engineering and Applied Technology: Agriscience or Agriscience Honors, Principles of Agriculture Mechanics, Agriculture Power & Equipment, DE Ag Engineering Industrial & Mech Systems I, Ag Fabrication & Biosystems Engineering, and Foundational/Supervised Agriculture Experience Veterinary & Animal Science: Agriscience or Agriscience Honors, Small Animal Science Technologies, Large Animal Science Technologies, DE Veterinary & Animal Science I, and Foundational/Supervised Agriculture Experience.

Education & Training: Teaching as a Profession: Introduction to Teaching as a Profession, Teaching as a Profession 1 and then 2, DE Teaching as a Prof./SDC Intro to Teaching, Teaching as Profession Practicum.
Teaching/Coaching as a Profession: Intro to Teaching/Coaching as a Profession, Teaching/Coaching as a Profession 1.
Information Technology: Networking Systems: DE Networking Systems 1, 2, 3, then 4.
Health Sciences: Nursing Services: DE Nursing Services 1, 2, 3, then 4.
Human Services: Human & Social Sciences: Introduction to Human Studies, Lifespan Development, and Family Studies.
Dietetics & Nutrition: Introduction to Human Studies, Nutrition Across the Lifespan, and Nutrition Science and Diet Therapy.
