The National Weather Service placed Putnam County under a Winter Storm Advisory until 8:00 a.m. tomorrow morning. Confidence in the weather forecast for the overnight hours is increasing, indicating a mix of freezing precipitation, which will make travel conditions unsafe during the morning commute. To allow families time to make childcare arrangements for tomorrow, Putnam County Schools will be closed tomorrow, Friday, December 5, 2025. 

School-Age Care (SAC) will open at Northeast Elementary School for participating families.
